Fettuccine with Broccoli Carbonara

Prep Time: 10 minutes; Cooking Time: 20 minutes

4        slices (about ¼ lb.) lean bacon, chopped

1         medium onion, chopped

2        cloves garlic, minced

1         jar (17 oz.) Five Brothers Alfredo Pasta Sauce

1         pkg. (12 oz.) fettuccine, uncooked

3        C. fresh or frozen broccoli florets

Grated Parmesan cheese

In a saucepan, cook bacon until crisp; discard bacon drippings.  Add onion and garlic; cover and cook over medium heat until onion is translucent, stirring occasionally.  Add sauce; cook gently over low heat until heated through.

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; during last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli to pasta cooking water.  Drain pasta and broccoli well; toss with hot Alfredo sauce mixture.  Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

You may substitute capellini for the fettuccine.
