Pat Parkin's Apple Crisp

12       tart green Pippin apples

½        C. orange juice

1         t. cinnamon

1         C. sugar

Topping:

1-1/2   C. flour

1 C. sugar

1/2 t. salt

1-1/2 cubes cold margarine or butter

Peel apples and slice very thin.  Place in 13”x9”x2” baking pan.  Pour orange juice over apples.  Mix cinnamon and sugar, and sprinkle over apples.

Put topping ingredients in bowl and mix with hand. Mixture will be crumbly (smooth).  Pour topping over apples and pat down evenly.  Bake at 375˚ for 45 minutes.
